SomaFM has an ongoing, pressing needs for funds to support our broadcasts. It costs us real money (not to mention real time and real effort!) to keep the tunes spinning.

We need to raise at least $25,000 each month (or about $820 a day) to meet our operating budget.

If you value the commercial-free music we play, please support SomaFM. We operate on a voluntary subscription model to ensure that no one is left out who wants to listen but can't afford to support us financially.

Your support of any amount helps us stay on the air, providing commercial-free music that can't be found anywhere else. You can donate as little as $1 or as much as you'd like.

Automatic Monthly Subscription

A simple, effective way to support SomaFM is through an automatic monthly subscription. You can cancel it at any time, and you can support us with as little as $1 a month. Considering that satellite and other internet music services charge between $7.99-12.99 a month, don't you think SomaFM is worth it?

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time (details), and there is no minimum subscription duration.

By Mail

You can also send us a donation in the mail. If you are sending a check, please make sure it is drawn on a US bank in US dollars. You can also send an international postal money order. (You can send cash at your own risk.)

We need your support right now more than ever!

Less than 10% of our listeners support us financially. While all those other internet radio stations make lots of money playing all those annoying commercials, we struggle to pay our bills and break even. If you think about all the great music you get to hear on SomaFM, doesn't $4.20 a month or $50 a year seem like a great deal?

We have always and will continue to operate on a sustainable financial model with no outside investors or venture capitalists to answer to, allowing us to be truly independent internet radio. Making a great radio station that you can count on is more important to us than making money, not the other way around (like most other radio stations).
